Who would of thought a horse would of brought two people together who where ment to be. Earl was running a small country horse show in Eolia Ky. when I first met him. I asked him if he could nail a shoe back on my standardbred mare that she had pulled. Faith intervened with that horse in the Spring of 1995, because Earl has been nailing shoes
on for me ever since. We where married at
that same small saddle club Sept. 16 1995 on horse back. Well after all a good farrier is very hard to find. Earl jokes and tells people he only married me,
because he
wanted my horse trailer. Ah what a match! Standardbred could be a smooth gaited, fast horse. I fell in love with a man and a breed of horse that most people only think of a as a buggy race horse all in the same year.
